Silicone molds for centrifugal casting

Wide range of molds for the manufacture of parts

Our Products

CONIEX S.A. designs and manufactures, for more than 36 years, a wide range of silicone and rubber molds, which are specially designed for centrifugal casting with low melting point metals: zamak (zinc) and pewter (tin).

In the R&D laboratory, our engineers continuously develop new and advanced formulations that extend the life of the molds and improve their thermal and mechanical properties, making them a reference for the sector.

The mold technology manufactured by CONIEX S.A. allows other materials such as resins, waxes, chocolate or caramel to be cast.

Moulds for Zamak Centrifugal Casting

At CONIEX, we design and manufacture moulds for the production of parts through zamak centrifugal casting. We manufacture high-precision moulds for all types of parts, including highly complex ones. We guarantee the highest quality, strength, and durability on the market to increase our customers’ productivity and profitability.

Silicone Moulds for Pewter Centrifugal Casting

We formulate, manufacture and supply a wide range of silicone moulds specially designed for the manufacture of pewter parts. The SILCODISC-PE series has excellent mechanical strength and high tear resistance to ensure long mould life.

Molds for resin originals

Coniex manufactures and supplies the SILICODISC-MA series of silicone molds, which has been designed for the manufacture of molds from original parts that cannot withstand the usual vulcanization temperatures. They are molds that vulcanize at temperatures between 90ºC and 120ºC. Depending on the alloy used, a greater or lesser number of castings are possible.

SILCODISC Series – High-Performance Silicone Moulds

The SILCODISC series consists of silicone moulds with high thermal and mechanical resistance, designed to deliver maximum productivity and a long service life while reducing labour costs in mould manufacturing. Made from flexible silicone rubber, they are especially suitable for centrifugal casting of low-melting-point alloys such as zamak and pewter, as well as for resin centrifugation.

SILCODISC-HT represents a new generation of high-performance moulds, developed after extensive laboratory and industrial testing. They stand out for their outstanding thermal resistance, high flexibility for easier demoulding, excellent abrasion resistance, and no softening at temperature.

They are used in sectors such as fashion jewellery, miniatures, fashion, promotional items, trophies, medals, religious articles, model making, among others.

ZAMAKDISC Series – Rubber Moulds for Demanding Production Requirements

The ZAMAKDISC series consists of high-performance rubber moulds, specially designed for manufacturing flat parts or parts with minimal undercuts. Thanks to their greater hardness, these moulds are ideal for high-volume production, offering stability, repeatability, and a long service life.

They stand out for their excellent performance at high temperatures, as they do not suffer from reversion or softening, but instead increase in hardness with successive castings, even in thin sections. This makes it possible to obtain parts with bright surfaces and sounder castings, significantly reducing subsequent vibratory finishing times.

Their high abrasion resistance, combined with low shrinkage, easy demoulding, and rapid mould heating, ensures high performance from the very first casting.

How to choose the right silicone mold?

The choice of mold directly affects part quality, ease of demolding, and the overall performance of the centrifugal casting process. The type of metal or alloy, part geometry, and dimensions are some of the main factors that must be taken into account.

Read our guide, “3 simple steps to choose the right silicone mold,” and discover which characteristics you should consider when selecting the most suitable range and hardness for each application.
