The Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness (MINECO) has granted, for the second consecutive time, the Innovative SME seal to CONIEX, valid for 5 years.
The Innovative SME Seal is a public recognition awarded to small and medium-sized companies that, with an innovative character, generate activities that promote scientific and technological knowledge, both in processes and in services or products, and that provide value, differentiating themselves from the competition.
This seal is valid for 3 or 5 years and to renew it a series of requirements are demanded, such as having received public funding for innovative projects, having carried out activities in the field of Research, Technological Development or Technological Innovation or, as in our case, having our own operating patent.

At CONIEX we know that one of the most important aspects for the progress and growth within the industrial sector is to bet on R&D&I.
More than 30 years of experience in centrifugal casting, silicone molds and surface treatment give us the necessary know-how which, together with the belief that research and development are the basis for progress, allow us to make advances and initiate innovative projects that add value to the company.
Investment in R&D&I has allowed us not only to make a difference in terms of products and processes in the field of centrifugal casting and surface treatment, but also to acquire greater knowledge of the market, increasing our strength in the sector and our international vocation.
In this sense in CONIEX we have been an active part in innovation issues in the industrial sector for more than 10 years, participating in projects such as CENIT-MAGNO (2008), NANOMAT (2010), IN.MO.POL (2012), INELAST (2014) and RIS3CAT PRO2, started in 2018 and currently still active.
INNOVATION AND COMPETITIVENESS
After years of participating in innovation projects, we know that this is not an activity that should be done sporadically. Being innovative requires involving the company continuously and at all levels in a constant process of renewal and change.
Although it is sometimes a great challenge, investing in R&D&I has always been a key point for CONIEX in order to find new applications for silicon, boost productivity, generate employment and continue growing in today’s competitive market.
