Zamak centering pins
At CONIEX, we manufacture different models of centring devices adapted to the needs of mould manufacturers and centrifugal casting part producers.
- Standard model suitable for metal casting in silicone and rubber molds. Allows easy opening of the mold after casting.
- Special resin model, designed to keep the mold perfectly closed when the pressure is removed from the centrifuge plates and not to deform the inner resin parts that have not yet reached their optimum polymerization and cooling point.
- Pacifier” model, small size and specially designed to surround the part, fasten or fix the mold around it and avoid displacements.

Descripción
Zamak centring devices are precision elements designed to ensure the correct positioning and alignment of the two halves of the moulds used in centrifugal casting processes (spin casting).
Their main function is to ensure that the upper disc and lower disc of the mould fit together perfectly during the vulcanisation and production process, preventing displacement, misalignment, and defects in the cast parts.
Manufactured from high-quality zamak, our centring devices offer excellent dimensional precision, mechanical resistance, and a long service life, even under the demanding working conditions involved in manufacturing moulds for zamak, tin, lead, and other low-melting-point alloys.
Advantages
- Precise alignment of the two halves of the mold.
- It ensures a perfect seal during casting.
- Reduces defects and burrs caused by misalignment.
- Compatible with rubber and silicone molds for spin casting.
Applications
Centering devices are used in the manufacture of molds for the production of parts via centrifugal casting, and they are an essential component for ensuring the repeatability, precision, and quality of the production process.
