Pneumatic Conveying Systems for Metal Swarf
Pneumatic conveying systems are designed for the efficient transport of short, dry metal chips within the plant, enabling their transfer from the production area to storage or processing areas.
This technology replaces traditional conveyors by using compact pipes that optimize space and reduce the need for civil engineering work.

Main Advantages
- Continuous and fully automated transport
- Elimination of bulky conveying systems
- Unattended operation
- Installation without the need for civil works.
- High versatility for different types of chips
System operation
The system uses a positive-displacement pump that generates a high-speed airflow capable of transporting the chips throughout the facility.
The process consists of:
- Controlled feeding via a dispenser
- Generation of Pressurized Airflow
- Pneumatic conveying through pipelines.
- Discharge into silos or storage systems.
This system enables the automatic loading of one or more silos, optimizing internal logistics.
