As its name indicates, the base of the tank is flat, i.e. it is horizontal with respect to the ground plane. In these machines the working process is carried out in one direction, once finished the motor stops rotating and after a delay to compensate the inertia, it starts again and this time it does it in the opposite direction.
Attached to the discharge grate a paddle that “floated” on top of the operating mixture is pushed downward by the centrifugal force of the media (chips) and parts mixture, blocking its passage.
The continued effect of the centrifugal force of the mixture causes it to crowd against the mixture and begin to climb the slope. At a certain point it overflows from the top and the mixture of chips and pieces begin to advance over the screen. There the media falls through the perforations into the vibro while the parts run out of the machine.
The problem is that as the volume of pieces decreases, the last ones are on a steeper slope and some pieces may not be unloaded.
